I got a good "push" from a low paying entry level job doing all the grunt work at a pc repair center. :D The older more experienced techs would do stuff like hack my shop pc from their bench a few tables back, have uncontrollable porn pop up :) , or a blue screen :( and i would have to reinstall. I learned the basics and more, studying on my own a lot after that. When you first start out you will have a lot of discouraging events happen,that is part of learning. It is great work, indoors, good ppl, usually you are left alone, good pay , working with your brain instead of your back.
