How come creative never took off as the MP3 Maker? Werent they first in the market and still strong internationally. I thought my Zen was easier to use then my iPod, it just seems like they dont try to advertise as much.
First of all, Apple is the market leader of music players. The iPod has a clickwheel (a touch sensitive ring to browse through the music), and apparently the Creative Zen only supports Windows. I'm not sure if there are any alternative programs to use it in Mac OS or Linux. And then of course, the iPod is officially supported in Windows and Mac OS. Linux can also the iPod, but (as far as I know) it's an open-source project for that OS. And the iPod also works with iTunes, and that's a good thing for Mac users. The only advantage that I see with the Creative music players is that they are cheaper than an iPod. But that's about it...
