I'm not sure If I'm posting this in the right spot but here goes.

I'm trying to upgrade from my standard HD to A SATA HD using a SATA PCI add in card. I have the card installed and working. I can access my new SATA HD through My Computer and the add in card utility shows it as well.
What I want to do is do-away with the old HD and make my PC boot from the SATA PCI card but it's not found in my BIOS, therefore I can't change my boot device. WHY? I've updated my BIOS hoping it would be more configurable but it's not.
