    hi all,

ive got a asus p5n-e sli motherboard and want to install two gfx cards so i can run 3 monitors, this means the cards are not SLI'd. The problem is it doesnt seem to reconise the second gfx card at all. Both cards are PCIe and ive tried the second card in the first PCIe slot on its own and it works fine so im starting to wonder if its a problem with the second PCIe slot

has anyone else had this problem????

    Thanx in Advance Dave

You may need to turn the paddle card to SLI mode to enable the second PCIe x16 slot. In single-card mode, the 650 SLI chipset disables the second PCIe x16 slot entirely.
