First of all, I have the P5W DH Deluxe board and a Thermaltake Soprano case. The case has an ear/mic cable which runs from the top of the case down to the motherboard, etc. I know where I need to plug the connectors in on the motherboard in order to make it work, however, I cannot figure out the proper configuration of the 6-pins for the connector. The Asus "conversion" guide supplied by Thermaltake does not 100% match the layout the motherboard user guide gives me. This is what the motherboard gives me in terms of pinconnections:

    For HD Audio:
    SENSE2_RETUR
    SENSE1_RETUR
    PRESENCE#
    GND
    PORT2 L
    SENSE_SEND
    PORT2 R
    PORT1 R
    PORT1 L

    For Legacy AC 97:
    NC
    NC
    NC
    AGND
    Line out_L
    NC
    Line out_R
    MIC2_R
    MIC2_L

The pins coming from the jacks in the case are the following:

    EAR R
    Return R
    EAR L
    Return L
    MIC IN
    MIC VCC
    Ground

And according the the conersion guide the following should work:

    EAR R should go with LINE_OUT R
    EAR L should go with LINE_OUT L
    Ground with Ground

What about the other 4 pins? The guide does not give a direct translation of those.

Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate it!

What I understands with this is

    EAR R - line out R
    Return R - Line in R
    EAR L - Line out L
    Return L - Line in L
    MIC IN - both Mic_Right and Mic_Left
MIC VCC - There should be something like VCC port in your sound coz this provide power to the Mic. (VCC - common-collector voltage)
    Ground - Ground
