I have a Netgear Wireless router and works fine
Just it seems to be stopping me from peer sharing using Win MX and Sharaza.. Not sure how to change the settings to allow this..
It does not say anything about blocking them

    Please help

It's because of the firewall, built in to the router.

There are various ways of connecting to the servers, but these involve connecting to another system, and gets a little too dodgy for my liking.

Each p2p may be different. Check with any documentation. You should be able to enter access the router with its ip address and then going on from there. But I'm not totally sure.

You may need to check WinMX's settings for what socket and/or port settings you want to use. Additionally, you may need to manually open a port through the router to make it work. Specifically, I don't know how, so check the manual for the router. I've used WinMX before, but it's been so long, I can't remember the specifics of it either.

glad you got it fixed :) I also have a netgear router had some problems when I got it, you may want to upgrade the firmware, just to keep it upto date.
