Hello, can anyone tell me whether this combination of hardware should be expected to work together? Because the units I have in my possession do not. When I hit the power button, the PC hums (fans start spinning), then it switches itself off within 3 seconds. Same thing happens when there's no CPU in the machine. My 400MHz Celeron still seems to work fine.

The Biostar site states 1GHz as the Max. Frequency of a Pentium III for the M6VCF. Does that mean a CPU with a higher speed (like 1.4GHz) just won't work at all?

    Thanks

    Jason
