disc in cdr drive

hi I need some help,I put a softweare disc in the dvdr to load a icam ,the computor froze ,in the middle of instaing ,how do I retreve it,tried rebooting,no look

 

If this is a tower or desktop unit, there should be a small hole on the front of the drive. You can use an unfolded paper clip to pump in the hole to eject the tray.

 

Best to do this with the PC off or you may find a spinning CD heading in your direction...
