hello I have tried to instal msn messenger / live more then 10 times, through diffrent websites but am unable to do so. When I do try it gives me this message

" Couldn't set up the installer. Check to be sure you are connected to the internet.

    Error: OnCatalogRessult: 0x8104000b"

I have 2 computer's upstairs already with msn but I most definetly am sure there is nothing wrong with my internet. I have also emailed Microsoft as I tried to do it through there website. I have had this computer reinstalled with Windows Vista home. Everything else runs fine. I have even swtiched off my firewall.Any ideas please. thanks tony

    Try this:

    1. Go to Start > Run and enter net stop "Windows Installer"
    2. Go to Run again, and then enter net start "Windows Installer
    3. Try to install Messenger again.
