Another SuSE user bites the dust

    Personally i agree with the author on every point he makes. I loved SuSE 10.0 and I didn't see a reason to change. Then I upgraded to 10.1 and absolutely hated it.

    I love SuSe too, but for whatever reason, it loved to lock up on my second box, and it took me forever to figure this out. I went with CentOS, but I think I might try Kubuntu instead. I really, really wish SuSe would work. That's my favorite distro just because of how natural it was to setup. :sad:

    I too was impressed by how polished Suse looked, but after I gave it a month, I moved on and never looked back. Ahh, the freedom of choice! :p

    openSUSE 10.2 is due out in December. I might re-evaluate SUSE then, depending on what the reviews say. I've heard that 10.2 will have a better package manager and improved support for 3rd party repositories.
