I already reformatted and she never setup a restore point on her pc . I will try checking for spyware and trojans again . I know that her sound card was working fine and the graphics was running normal not dragging .

Sony is gambling with the Blu-ray Drive big time . I think they have faith in their product if you don't have 100 percent faith in your product well how are your customers going to want your product. Sony will be untouchable If Bluray takes off and thats no BS .

My sisters's notebook is not playing any sounds. It says there is no soundcard detected plus the graphics seem to be running slower than normal . I know there is a soundcard in the laptop and i'm just curious what might be causing the slow down . There aren't any virus detected on the virus...

I feel your pain fellow gamer. I would be in the same spot if my card was to die on me . I have a big money sucking device called a girlfriend . So she is clueless about PC's . Go figure?
