that sucks... what if the two laptops are identical? both of them are HP Pavilion dv6000 won't that do?

My laptop is 2 years old and it doesn't have an HDMI port can i take a port from another laptop and just put it in mine? or do i have to add a whole new graphic card? (sorry if this is the wrong place)
