    I also have a WD My Book, but never used the software.. it seemed really slow. I just partitioned and reformatted. you might check the permissions on the folder. sometimes you have to start within the folder and delete sub-folders before you can delete main folder?

    I;m replacing the HD in my Pavilliondv6607nr. currently has a 160GB SATA 1.5Gb/s hard drive - 7,200 RPM, 2.5in form factor. I've found several SATA 3g and SATA-300 7200rpm drives, but i don't know if the SATA1.5gb and SATA3Gb would be compatible??
