Thanks.:) I've been getting mixed responese on several different forums. Some say it's fine, and others claim their NB idles at 25C. Don't really know what to think! I might reseat the heatsink and apply some AS5 compound when I get some spare time, see if that helps.

I have a Gigabyte 965P-DS3P with the stock northbridge heatsink. FSB is running at 378Mhz if that makes any difference. The northbridge idles at 40-43C, and after prolonged load it gets up to 55C. Is this too hot? Thanks!
