To clarify on the above, i read the manual but wondered if that was a best case scenario and 3 would still work. Thats cleared it up though. I'll have to get two more chips. Can anyone answer my query about dual channel? Thanks Neil PS in the above new should in fact be knew.

Thats what i thought from looking at the diagram but i wondered if anyone new if 3 would work. Do i need to do anything special for dual channel memory other than put them in the correct slots? Is it a special type of memory? I have Corsair standard 2x512 DDR400 at the moment. Cheers Neil

I have a Biostar NF4ST-A9 mobo and was wanting to put some more memory in it. I have 1gb (2x512) at present and was going to add another 512mb. Looking in the manual, the diagram shows configurations of 1,2 and 4 sticks of memory. Can anyone tell me whether i can put 3 sticks in? I obviously...
