Claiming on warranty is a nightmare, took nearly 4 weeks last time, so I'd rather try and fix the problem myself. I'm guessing it's software related as I do look after my laptop. I don't know of anyone's PCMCIA card that i can borrow, but may go out and buy one to see if that worked sometime...

USB device works fine with my other computer. Phone software was un-installed before I rolled back. HP support are completely useless. USB is on board, 2 hubs, each with 2 ports, neither are working. Thank you for your time again.
