Skribla seemed quite happy with ie, before whatever corrupted it,surely system restore or repair function and a few reinstallations to get him back to how he was is the right way to go.As for firefox or opera (not slating it) but hes probably more familiar with ie whether its 6 or 7b.

Whats the most important files to back when reformating apart from personal docs. Im talking about drivers, avs. Can you back up things like real player,acrobat ect?

The only reason for the 128mb ram is because i can pinch it from my old pc. Is the processor that i am using ok for what i am doing? 2.40gh intel celeron. pc just seems a bit slugish sometimes.
