Hi, im buying all my pc parts this thursday and need help with an issue. im looking at this cooler Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK i understand that its big and wonder if it will fit in the antec 900 ultimate gamer case and the motherboard is the EVGA nforce 680i Help will be greatly appreciated
i hav no doubt that it would fit your case, but wat im not so sure about is the northbridge heatsink. its fairly large and the heatsink might get in teh way of the fan.
the stock fan should be more than adequate if your NOT overclocking, but I did some research, and that fan should fit (provided the fans are facing the heatsink) and should keep you happy.
A lot of people are hitting 3GHz without much effort on Core 2's. From what I've been reading 3GHz is a "bad" OC for the Core 2's. On air. Stock air cooling. Those with higher-grade cooling will start showing up for OC's past 3.4-3.6GHz, and 4GHz seems to be where the extreme stuff starts kicking in.
titan Vanessa (L-Type) Sonic Tower by Thermaltake Thermalright Ultra-12 thermalright sonic tower rev2 CL-P0323 I know these are and in AMD CPU types, but i'm sure they will be available for Intel platforms as well. Also check out the zalman coolers.
