well i've found that the more you know (about computers) you also learn how much more there is to know - or you think you know personally i don't think it is possible to know everything about computers - but i could be wrong you just figure out 1 thing and then you learn there is a load more stuff to learn[ot]i nearly wish: i'd never started with computers, except it gives me something to do, not really[/ot]
That's true. The irony is that, usually, the people that think they know it all are prone to more ignorance, while the people that admit they don't know it all are generally the more knowledgeble, or at the very least, more willing to learn and not be a prick to someone else learning.
I have read somewhere that the amount of learning till the end of our life is smaller than a Pin in the whole universe.....
Yeah generally people who admit they don't know it all are more eager to learn and seek out new information. People who think they know it all don't pay attention to new things or don't accept something as a truth as they peobably think they already know it... I used to think I knew a fair bit but since joining HWF I've learnt a million times more than what I already knew, and even though I'm now more knowledgable than what I was when I first joined HWF I don't know jack schnitt in the grand scheme of things... /end drunken typing...
me too again, me too, there's a hell of a lot of crap that i know i dont know (like port forwarding, although i'm trying to learn it from wiki), so big respect to those who teach us
