Hey all, I've been having a look at pre paid credit cards / gift vouchers (which can be used as credit cards) and i was wondering if anyone knew of any high street retailers selling them? Realistically i'm only going to use it once and i just want something i can pick up, top up use and throw away! i quite like the idea of a pay as you go card as it means its anonymous (only for services, aka hosting as you wouldn't need to give an address!) any body got any recommendations?
I know Next do them. I dont know of any more but im not one for shopping anyway so really im the last person to ask!
do they do pre paid cards or gift vouchers? and are they visa or mastercard? any idea? i think there's a next somewhere near me....
talksport - they do a pre-paid debit card, I've not looked into it but there should be a link on their website somewhere.
I have one but im not sure if my company is available outside the states they carry Visa and Mastercard depends on which you prefer. https://www.greendotonline.com/ Oh and i got mine from Walgreens...
Its a gift voucher card from next. If you want to pay money onto the card and then use it with visa or switch etc why dont you just get a current account with a debit card? Lloyds and Nationwide do Visa debit cards... other as well probably. Most people take elctron and solo now anyway.
Beacuse i like the idea of being able to spend cash on the internet (by cash i mean, annonymous). say for example, people buying music from allofmp3.com start getting sued by the music industry (beacuse banks / credit card companys are forced to hand over details of people who have transactions with allofmp3's details). I belive Allofmp3 to be completely legal, but i am not a lawyer! and what i think is not law so i would rather be safe than (possibly) sorry.
Hey dude, don't know if these will work in your area..but amex offers prepaid traveller's cheques and credit cards. AMERICAN EXPRESS - PREPAID CARDS
exactly what im looking for, unfortunately i need something in pounds or euro's... travelers checks have given me an idea tho, i will pop into post offices and travel agents to see what they offer... thanks beretta9m2f
