My USB and IEEE Connectors aren't working correctly, not picking up either of my external devices, I'm not sure if this is a driver issue? I checked my device listing and didn't see anything about USB nor IEEE. My MoBo is an MSI K9N Platinum, with four 2.0 USBs integrated, as well as one IEEE, and my case (Antec) adds 2 more 2.0 USB and 1 more IEEE.

Anyone ever had a similar issue or know of something I could have missed that'll help?

    Thanks!

Make sure you've installed the USB controller drivers for your motherboard from the disk if you had any,

The only things that come to my mind are -
    • Check BIOS settings to make sure you have not got any settings which might disable the effected ports. I am not really sure what, but just have a general look around. Maybe see if there is any PnP settings disabled...
    • Some motherboards allow both front and back ports but you need to enable/disable via jumpers on the mbob. Check your mobo manual for instructions on enabling/disabling any type of port.
    • I would try to disconnect the fron ports (USB and IEEE) and see if your back ports work.

Dur, I got it, it was just disabled, both USB and IEEE. I'm glad it was something dumb, and not a bad mobo ;)

    Thanks again!
