DVD audio

I just built my first computer. I have an Intel DG965WH system board with an Intel E6300 CPU. I have also installed a Sony DRU120C DVD. My OS is WindowsXP 64. My problem is when I play DVD's there's no audio. I've tried several new drivers from Intel and updates from Microsoft, but nothing works. I need help.
