Hi all, I have a problem with either my graphics card(Novatech 7600gt) or my DVD drive (samsung) as I cant get any picture at all not on the monitor or my lcd tv I just get a blank screen and audio but also none of the windows HiDef samples I downloaded work however some video of me and the wife on holiday dose play wich is in my documents/my video, I've had a look around my system and although Ive built a few pc's I still concider myself a novice but this has got me stumpped, any help would be great
just to update I actualy cant get any video at all and i've downloded the klite but I need some time to figure it out but i cant understand why it wont work ive never had a problem like this before i've even had a 7600gt in this pc before so the chip set is still the same.Ive also noticed the mouse pointer change to a pointing finger when i move the mouse around the screen sugesting that it is picking up on menue items that i cant see,it might be worth mentioning that i'm useing a duel display samsung monitor and a sony 50inc rear pro tv that can also recieve HiDef from the graphics card and the monitor options are set to clone the samsung is DVi and the sony at the moment is vga although the HiDef signale is conected via component wich just this second makes me think, this is'nt an HDCP issue i cant see how.
