I can't tell you which is the best, since I've never tried every single router.

I've had good experienced with Netgear routers.

well fine sir , i am her to tell you that you need speical wireless adaptors to even get close to achive the therotical speeds , but you should try a pre-n router those increase your range while keeping you at 54 mbps or higher , and if you get a pre-n wireless adaptor , therotical speeds go to 300 mbps and insane range

this is a 108Mbps not great with regular wireless cards
    Newegg.com - D-Link DI-624 High-Speed Wireless Router - Retail

    now her is a 300mbps
    Newegg.com - LINKSYS WRVS4400N Secure, High-speed Wireless-N Router - Retail

now of you want a solid just wireless -g router go with the wrt54g or gl not gs
this you can hack legally ,beacuse firmware is linux

I red they sucked based on these reviews...

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on NetGear WGT624 Wireless Router at Epinions.com

How long have you had your Netgear, I heard it was really good, if not the best when it works, but it'll start to break down after a few months

Wireless-N I heard are not that complete, and has alot of compatibility issues

oh yea, and the price for an n router; im not paying 200 for an n router, im simply just want my 2nd t computer to have wireless, and my psp to have wireless, and have my 360 and main computer hooked up to the router; i dont plan on exchanging big files throguh the network

than get a wrt54g or wrt54gl they connect at 54 mbps it should be fine and it has great range if you need to increase it you can dwonloads hacked firmware , which works great and act like your updating it and up the xmit power to 80 and it works perfect also you can use vpn and such with it using DD-WRT firmware
and it legal beacuse the firmware was written with linux and linux it open sourse so pepole can make the 50 dollar router 500 dollar pretty great
