phot file

can't open attachments on certain emails get a message come up that says File not associated with this program. Please go to folder options control panel and open file what does this mean?

how would i find out what the file extension is?

 

It is like Photoname.jpg where .jpg is the extension..There are so many types..like .png .gif etc etc.. which one is yours?

 

i think the extention is pps

 

.pps is PowerPoint Slideshow and you need Microsoft Powerpoint to view that file.

There is one Openoffice Org software as well, which is free and those who are using it saying that it is very good. I am not completly sure if it supports .pps extension or not but its worth a try before paying hundreds of dollars for MS Office...

 

Buy it. Or get a trial version from Microsoft.

 

Yes....download the trail version and do ur stuff. Remove it when u r done But that will give u a mesage saying that you have a trail version and buy full version or so...
Get Openoffice and if it works then you will not have to go through the hassle of trail version.
