    does 945 chipset support pentium4 processor ??? any give me any info abt this ? and explain abt this ??????

    If you visit the manufacturers page for the motherboard that you want to check compatibility for and you will be able to see exactly what prosessors this motherboard supports. Or you could give us the exact specs for the motherboard and we can find out for you.

    Well, generally you must always have the same socket type for the motherboard and the prossesor to be compatible eg. both must be socket lga755. But this is not always the case so the safest way is just to check each mobo individually at the makers website. The chipset has no direct link as to what prosessor will be compatible. For example the asus p5b mobo is very new and it supports everything from core 2 quad to intel celeron prosessors
