I recently had to take apart my whole computer so i could put in a new retention kit for the cpu cooling fan old one broke that worked fine i put everything back together but then i had a problem i got lost at a bunch of little wires that go into the motherboard i looked at the book and their called usb56 wires and the panel1 wires they have names like pwrsw resetsw ground +5v and so on i looked at the book and i don't have some wires that it shows instead i have ones that are labeled a bit differently now i can get the computer to boot up hard drives seem to run from the sound dvd drives fans and all that but the monitor says no signal even though i have it plugged in i tried to remove my video card that i have installed and put the vga cable into the integrated motherboard port and still no luck my motherboard is asus P4VP-MX here is a link to its manual http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4vp-mx/e1877_p4vp-mx.pdf u can see pages chp1-20 and chp1-22 i guess it maybe a problem with the connectors i am not sure i have the wires with he same labels for panel1 but for usb56 they are a bit different thank you for reading this and thank you for any help you can provide.
i also wanted to point out my computer used to make a single *beep* noise when it used to boot up before or be restarted it no longer makes that either thanks.
