Installing Windows XP over network

Hi all, I am stumped on this one :S

I have an IBM T21 laptop which does not boot from the CD Drive and does not have a floppy drive. I need to install windows XP on it, and the only remaining option (without buying a new CD drive or a floppy drive) is to install over a network. The laptop has the option to boot from network, but I have absolutely no idea how to do set it up. I've tried to google it, but didn't understand it. Complete newb on this, I don't know how to setup up a "RIS" or whatever. I am hoping to use my desktop, which has XP, as a server to install XP onto the laptop over my network, but don't know were to start. Please help!

the easiest way to achieve this is by not using a client server setup (because i don't know how to setup a client server network) but if it were me, i'd use a peer to peer network between your desktop system and the laptop, it is easy, all you need is a NIC and a crossover ethernet cable, there is probably an integrated NIC in the laptop

BTW: i don't know exactly how to do it but someone from HWF will

That laptop might not run xp to good,Unless you have upgraded the memory..
I believe that laptop only has 128 mb ram,,, have you upgraded it?
If not I wouldn't bother with putting Xp on it. IT will run real slow.
You can put Windows 2000 though,It should run ok ..

Yeah, it has been upgraded to 256 MB of RAM, and can hold up to 512 MB I believe. It has an integrated NIC also. So, any one have any specific instructions on how to install XP over the network? I liked the peer to peer idea, and have the appropriate cabling :)
