I heard about this on the news, some argue this is a good idea because the children learn and can get in touch with the outside world. But others say that its a waste of resources and that the money should be focused on more important needs. Personally i think its a waste of money they should build new schools and hospitals with that money each laptop is like £100 which is a lot of money in Africa.
Yeah, i'll agree with Pimp. It seems a little bit misplaced, there are plenty of places without proper plumbing and housing, and i don't think a laptop will cure hunger.
