When I boot up my laptop (Windows XP sp2), for some reason a folder from my hard drive opens up in place of my desktop. What's up with this...any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance... Tom C.
where does the folder open, on your desktop ? it is probably in your startup folder right click the start button and select explore or explore all users, i forgot which it is
the opening folder could be in your "Statup" folder or registry run "msconfig.msc" from the run menu[ot]i think[/ot]and look for the folder and disable of delete it, :unsure: because i no longer use Windoze
