I'm using a hp xe813pc with windows ME software. The motherboard is an asus cuw-am with a intel celeron processor running at 766mhz. I'm thinking about using the same case and rebuilding the whole computer.

Those cases don't seem to have very good airflow, so while it might be fine for the Celeron now, you may end up with heating issues on newer processors. I'm also thinking that the case may have the power supply hanging over the CPU cooling fan, which could become an issue depending on what cooler you use. Given the smaller nature of the microATX formfactor, you may also be limited on replacement power supplies and a higher-end video card.

Basically, while it might work, I don't see it as being a very healthy environment in the long run.
