New Windows. Jerky scrolling.

    I just installed a different kind of Windows XP and now when I scroll down a folder or web page it's really jerky. This has happened to me before but I forgot how I fixed it. Can you fix it for me please?

    go to the control panel and check the settings for scrolling. if smooth scrolling is not on, then turn it on

    Are you using a video card? If so did you install the drivers? This is something that is usually shown when the system's gpu drivers aren't installed, just the Windows hardware wizard crap.

    Can you specify on how "different" this XP is?

    Yes, update your graphics card drivers, it sounds like that is your issue.

    Happened to me last week. You need to update your video driver. This fixed the issue for me.

    absolutely,I just did that to a friends pc few days ago.You scroll really slow and the view while scrolling sucks.
