I'm building a computer and I was wondering the kind of cooling it would need. I don't know if you need to know that but I will say it anyways. I just kind of want a cooling system that will cool everything well enough. If possibly try to keep it under $100 USD.
If you're overclocking, then you might want to upgrade the cooling. However, if that's not the case, as already stated, the stock cooling is fine. As far as cooling options go, if you stick with air cooling, your best cooling solution might run $70 or so on the high-end with a 120mm fan.
Hey not to be nit picky, but I've had two asus dvd drives fail on me, and I would personnally go with this drive, because Pioneer are better quality, and same price!
I have the same MB and will be using the same Q6600 proc. Got this to cool it cause it'll be OC'd I looked and looked for a video card and settled on this Very high ratings for the price Have you seen this
There are soo many coolers to chose from under 100$$ it aint funny. Now, if you wanted to get a little crazy you could always look into a vigor gaming cooler. It is a TEC cooler. It will keep idle temps cooler than all standard air coolers and will allow for way higher OC's. I know they are sold out but something for you to look at. Thanks guys, I am going to look into the Vigor because the stock cooling is just annoying and I'm not sure how well it is doing. Thanks
So I am looking into overclocking my Q6600 from 2.4 to around 3.2. What kind of cooling would everyone recommend to do this?
Well I want to spend the least amount as possible. I was looking into the Arctic cooler freezer 7 pro, can that do it? I really don't want to go over $60, but I really dont want to spend that much either. But if I must then I must.
