    Here's the problem,

One year ago my Girlfriend bought a PC from a shop in the netherlands, and now we are living in France so, It's a lang way back if I want the same shop to examin the PC.

The problem is each time I start playing Games like Assassins Creed or Extrem conditions the thing just freezes I get this sound whcih sounds pretty much like a "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz", and the the monitor and the PC are in total freez.

the only thing that I can do is push the restart button and it's the same problem over and over.

AND those are the Pc's Specifications:

Processor AMD Athlon (tm) 64X2 Daul Core Processor 4200+ 2.19GHz
    Memory (Ram) 3071 MB
Running 32 bit MS windows Vista
    NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT 250MB
RealTek RTL8168B/811B Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
    RealTek High Definition Audio
    Plus a ATI Radon onBoard
and the mother board brand is MSI, model: K9AGM2

here is the motherboard specifications link:

    MSI -- MICRO-STAR INT'L CO., LTD.

I did some tests before posting :

1- I have removed the Geforce and install the ATI Radon, and I am still having the same problem.

2- at first I had a 1 GB of Ram, and because I thought that it could be a bad memory, I bought an extra 2 GB and removed the one GB and I am still having the same problem.

3- and than I thought that It could be the power supply "I have 600 and somethig Watt powersupply", so I tryed another one which belongs to a friend of mine but I am still having the same problem.

4- I really don't believe that it's a software problem because I tried several versions of MS windows but still the same problem over and over.

5- and I don't think that the problem is caused by a virus because I have a good antivirus "Panda".
plus I have tried several more like Norton...ect.

6- I removed all the unnecessary PC components like the TV card but, as always I still have the same problem.

7- And by the by I have installed all the leatest drivers.

8- and last but not least, I have added an extra PC Fan so now I have 2 PC fans + Processor Fan + Geforce Graphic card fan = 4, so It can't be a heat problem.

I am starting to think that the problem is caused by the motherboard or my processor and mybe both.

And I have run of ideas, so if u have any suggestions please help, if you don't than you don't.

Sounds like you are doing a good job, trying to narrow down the problem....
To me it sounds like a bad motherboard... How does it run with one ram stick ?
The only other thing would be Video adapter, But you have checked that out already..

Yes but, I have to find an AMD motherboard, or maybe a AMD processor, and I don't know if I can get one, because most of my friends have PC manufactured by a wwellknown brands like Acer, and most of the time they come with special motherboard, because I used to own one and it had an acer BIOS.

So that takes me to the point of asking help, because I don't want to spend money over a new CPU or a motherboard, so if you have encountered a similar situation or you have some expertise in this kind of situation please try giving me a hand.

and finally excuse my English, I know it's not that good.

Your English is very good, I can see your problem, living in France it must be hard to get parts.. Also trying to find a computer store that ships nationally ... let me look at some of my computer dealers too see if they might ship to France... The only other option is to get another PC..
