Pc Slow

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a pop up blocker on but everytime I load the internet which is talk talk but aol page I get these pop ups in the background, they have slowed my computer down. and when they are loading my mouse is slow. I have an Athlon 1700 with a 320 gig hard drive. How can I stop these pop ups. Everything I do is slowed down, even when you write something it takes ages to go in the search box, and sometimes some of the letters are not there. Thanks

Go to Control Panel, and then Add Remove.
Uninstall all your pop up blockers including any suspicious looking plugins for Internet Explorer. Your system is slowing down because IE is loading all your plugins (toolbars, pop up blockers, etc.)

Upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 if you don't have it, it does a fine job at blocking pop-ups. Also check out Firefox 3.

I would not us IE, and try Firefox 3 and also try the New Opera Browser, Both are fast and get a program called Ccleaner..
