There are so many reading in Speedfan, I'm not sure what to look at. And one of them seems abnormally high. Here's what they look like:

    Temp1: 48C
    Temp2: 39C
    Temp3: -1C
    HD0: 42C
    Core1: 42C
    Core2: 43C
    Core: 70C (?)
    Ambient: 0C

I'm particularly concerned and confused by the 70C (with a fire symbol). And what's the difference between Temp and Core? The manual isn't very helpful. I think those Core1 and 2 temps look OK, since I just moved to a place without air conditioning and it's hot out. But do those look ok?

I have a C2D e6400, and Antec p180b case with 3 fans set to low. I'll post other specs should it be of any help.

Likely just a false reading. I like everest. It usually doesn't show readings that don't exists.

You can feel the various heat sinks in the case with your finger. 70C is enough to put a scold on your finger.

If that reading Is not in bios than don't worry about it.
