i received this email today with me being so paranoid, i did nothing (except posting it here) i just wanted to warn HWFs, or am i wrong ?
Donkey, you've just won £5,500,000!!!!!!! :good:  Thanks for warning us though! I don't think that an e-mail of such 'great importance' would have so many grammatical errors!!
yeah, right np, just keep an eye on your inbox me neither, but, using MS was clever[ot]remembered T[/ot]
"Probable" con? Hah, dead-certain con. For some reason, my yahoo account gets completely deluged by these. I get like 5 or more different varieties of these per day. The spam catcher in yahoo is decent but not the greatest, so still have to delete one or two usually. I don't get it. How did my address become such a target for these stupid things. It happened very suddenly, too. One time I got a single one of those, from an African politician or whatever (lol). So to screw around, I replied to the email with something abusive. I put something like STFU and something else -- I don't remember -- in there. I thought it was funny. And then the next day, all these email cons started coming. Several of them per day, like I said. And they've never stopped since. Geez... Did the person at the other end who received my reply decide to do that to me because of my reply??
i was trying to be polite[ot]for a change[/ot] can i have a spank please ?[ot]pwease pwease pwease[/ot]
Hmmm I don't know... you'd have to be really bad, like spelling colour 'color', metre 'meter' ... that really annoys me!! Or call me Tom, that's also annoying
I think when you reply to spam, it confirms that it's a real address, and your email addy gets added to lists or something. Can't remember where I read it
ooooooooooooooooo eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr thanking you big style BTW: if it didn't make sense, check here Edit: see, its fun to be stupid
Maybe that version is outdated? Have you looked into upgrading? Do you have automatic updates enabled?
I think it's harder to have a sense of humor over the internet... you can't add a sarcastic voice (I use  instead) or show body language.
