I Recently contracted a virus from one of those 'You have a virus, pay us and we will get rid of it for you' scams. I refused to pay extortion money, and began researching which anti spyware/virus companies were reputable. I finally decided on Spyzooka, paid them, scanned, removed, and began enjoying my non infected computer. The next day the same problems were coming back, so I scanned again, more infections, more remove. I did this 4 times in a row until I got 2 clean scans in a row. Computer worked fine. The next day I came home, began using my computer and it locked up completely. When I rebooted, I got halfway through the boot process when a blue flash with some symbols flashed by and the reboot process began from the biggining.....in an endless cycle. I can boot in safe mode only, and can get online sporadically. I have contacted Spyzooka about the reloading virus and am waiting for a response there.

Total noob here, Spyzooka asked me to upload two windows/32 xxxxx files so they could see if they could do something. Have my drivers been damaged or deleted or something? Could the anti-spyware program caused this by removing something i needed? Lost, confused, and frustrated and just looking to see if someone will have mercy on my soul with some information:O

I have an HP pavilion a1430n and am using windowsXP pro. Not sure what other info is needed. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this sort of thing, not sure what to do.

I never heard of this Antispyware before, This is more than likely spyware in its self. or a Trojan. I would remove it as soon as possible, and Scan with Kaspersky or NOD32,,
What Antivirus do you use ? For Antispyware try spybot search and destroy..FREE..
    or Adaware free..

The virus I got was from Pandora Software. There 'Antispywarepro 2009' was another virus/extortion scam.

I finally got my computer clean, and Spyzooka, though not a scam, was ineffective.

    Thanks for the reply :)
