    £6.52 bank balance and £1200 bills on 8th jan goes crunch! Its still down at 7:15

    At the shop I work at, sales are well up on last year, which seems strange considering there's a credit crunch!

    I should point out that the only competition in town we had has just gone into Administration (Max Speliman)!! Probably helps :D

    John Lewis site was working for me at 21:44.

    Yes, it took them about an hour or so to recover and by 20:00, I think, their service resumed. Slowly at first mind.....

    I just thought it was a bit funny..... just shows that they are a very popular retailer....
