    Hi there

    Sorry its not quite clear.

Does this happen to all programs/web pages or only certain applications? You can try re-installing the applications, considering you have had a virus, it might have corrupted some important files which is causing the current problem/s.

You can try system restore and go back to a time when you didn't have the virus but imho depending on the how much damaged the virus has done, the best bet would be to re-install windows xp.

edit: could be spy guard 2009 delete the infected files which included the logos.

Your comment to re-install Windows is interesting.

I have Windows XP and required to re-install my computer due to an error. However, on a further re-install of Windows XP, a caption was shown informing me that my installing Windows XP has been exceeded and denied access. Has anyone else experienced this error?-

Do you mean, XP suggests you have exceeded the number to allowed installations?

That is correct in the final installation, it stated that to contact a phone number to obtain a release number, which I presume requires a monetary payment. That is reason I dread if my computer requires a reinstal of Windows XP.
Disk was bought from a retailer some years ago.

Windows XP OEM Home Edition 2002.

No fee should be involved, you just need to explain why you have to re-install.
