Is there any CD to mp3 ripping program free on the net? I keep finding trial offers, am i going to have to break down and buy one?
very, it has tabs for, ripping (they call it copying to hard drive), burning, your media library, radio stations, and some other stuff, it uses quite a bit of resources. Looks good too!
You gotta pay to get WinAMP to burn MP3's. Which is only like $15, so probably worth it in the long run. iTunes lets you burn them to 320k VBR, Lossless etc. But not everyones cup of tea, as it looks Maccish. Although what can be wrong with that? Windows Media Player 10 is by far my favourite. It looks great, easy to use and it's so shiny. Too bad they took away the radio stations..
I'm really surprised you guys have never heard of this, but try CDEX. It's the best CD-Ripping software I've ever used, bar-none, be it commercial or otherwise. As luck would have it, it's free and open-source! Enjoy, -AT P.S. - This should've gone in the free software thread... *posts*
Heh, sorry for the misunderstanding, you didn't do anything wrong! I meant that I should have thought to post CDEX in the free software thread we have going. It's a great piece of software, although being a Linux person I can't use it - I settle for GRIP.
