Hello there-I would like somebody to review my problem I have here, and assist in any way they could. (Please follow along) I own a Razer Lachesis mouse. The mouse almost seized to work on my surface, (a razer eXactmatXspeed) only able to move left and right, and hardly anywhere else. Now, when I use my mouse on another fabric mouse pad, it works fine. Also, it works quite well on top of a magazine, my pants, and most other surfaces. Sounds awkward? It has been working perfect and flawlessly on the same surface until early this morning. My friend owns the same mouse, and it works fine on the surface as well.. The only thing I did was clean the mouse\surface exterior with a slightly wet towel,(which I do weekly and regularly), unplugged\replugged the mouse, then the problem occurred. I've tried changing the USB slot of the mouse to nearly every one I have, as well as restarted my computer multiple times. Any help\additional insight on the problem would be GREATLY appretiated-because I am at a lose. Thanks ;]
Hmm from the sounds of things it sounds like the mouse doesn't function as it should. Is it still under warranty? If I was you, I'd RMA it as fast as you could say "ahh stupid mouse".
lol, I bought the mouse a year ago or so....hopefully I can find the receipt, (I think razer mice have 2year warranty). Thanks,
