Are you burning a vcd? Some DVD players don't support the VCD format. Sonic do some software for making VCDs or you could always use Nero.
yes im burning on vcd, my player supports vcd i have checked, i used the windows burning tool because it was easiest,i have downloaded the movie from the internet so im not sure if there is something else i need, the movie is smaller than the cd capacity
If you burnt it as a Data CD, that could be the problem, as the DVD player may not understand the format of the disc.
how do i burn it as a video cd?i just right clicked on the file and went into the cd drive and clicked on copy to cd,then it asked me o name the cd, then it started copying it.i didnt do anything else
you will need to use a cd burning software like Nero I will see if I can find a freeware, checkout the freeware sticky in the software forum!
The minute you want to do something more than copying an entire disc, you have to look through the options. If you use Nero and are not familiarized with it, you can use Nero Express (it's a wizard really). It's very easy to use.
