I'm setting up a wireless network in my house and I need a wireless NIC for my PC. I'm going to have a 20Mb connection if that makes a difference. Can you recommend a good model? Is PCI better than USB?

What is wrong with USB?
In case of PCI wireless you need to get low-loss cable if suddenly you realize that antenna must be displaced. In case of USB - just put it where the signal is better. And yes 30$ max. All the other "boosted" stuff is BS. Its 100mW limit by law in most countries anyway.
