hello all, so one day I go to start up my PC and all the fans, hard drives, dvd drives and motherboard lights all seem to power up but thats it, nothing on the screen or speakers, no bios nothing. So I have unplugged all the hard drives and dvd drives. I have two one gig sticks of ram I have traded them out and moved them around and nothing. I have replaced the PSU and still the same. I dont have another cpu or motherboard of the same socket type to test with nor do i have another video card to test with but could maybe get my hands on one of those.

So any advice here guys? Thanks for any help!

    No overclocking done

    Welcome to the forum.

First things first - is the mobo new? Have you got its documentation?
Does it post? i.e. does it beep when you turn the PC on? It can be a series of beeps or one long beep. Read the manual to find out what the beeps (or the lack of them) mean.

It's not posting start off with a system bios reset cmos. I would also try another graphics card if it doesn't post after the cmos is cleared. as you've already stated you've switched the ram and also power supply unit. so the others left to rule out are graphics card, CPU and motherboard.

Trying to reinstall the video card, and if that doesn't work, borrow a friends or one from a local store. There's no point in swapping out the motherboard or cpu quite yet.
