I have found a rather annoying problem with my saitek GS3200 and Vista, Every time i boot up / come out of hibernation i have to un plug, then re plug in my mouse before i can use it.

Is this a known problem and are there any fix's / workarounds

Vista is pretty buggy. It doesn't always power things on the USB buss back up when it comes back from sleep. You could try changing the power management mode for the mouse, try a different mouse, or chalk it up to good old MS engineering and just continue with your current workaround.

I have a similar issue with my USB wireless adapter and XP. Every time the PC returns from hibernation, it fails to connect to the router. The only way to make it work again is by plugging it into another USB port....

Perhaps try and use the PS/2 socket instead of USB? Just an idea...
