I want to make sure I get the right card.

    I would like to be able to play World Of Warcraft, Counter Strike, Team Fortress 2, etc. I have a PCI slot, not PCI express. What is the highest end card I can get? So far I am only seeing PCI express cards on Google that are more high end than my 64 mb card...

    Do you have a AGP slot?

    Whatever you don't get an ATI card. They just abandoned driver support for a huge line of cards and declaired them "legacy" even though it's a 2004 chipset. If their products are legacy that fast they must have been crap to begin with. Stay away from ATI.

    if you have an AGP slot, the best card I know of is the nVIDIA GeForce 7800GS, I have a 7 series GTX in PCI E and it is great, I imagine the AGP version wouldnt be too different :)
