Hi all I have been seraching for a Free Driver Update Software as we have just got a load of old Pc's given to us at my volunteer group. I did find one website offering this but you can only update 2 Driver;s per day and it was completly useless. Any ideas please
How old? and what sort of specs? Perhaps consider using a free OS like Ubuntu? I find that it is very good with drivers. It is 100% free and easy to use. That way your group does not have to worry about licensing and forever searching for Windows drivers.... Just an idea...
[ot]It should. I personally tried it and I think they do a lot for automation which makes things easier for people who want to start using a free OS with unbelievable hardware compatibility... at worst it is worth a go.....[/ot]
well i can't say anything cos i started my *nix journey on Kubuntu Dapper but soon concluded, Debi (the daddy) would teach / learn me more and christ the sky goes up a long way, im still at the stage of thinking "i'll never know all this crap, but the same knowledge can apply to different things, so maybe i'm readier than i think" who knows, but then again theres my stupid memory, in conclusion, dunno
