my motherboad is dead no display, no beep, when i changed bios chip and use others intel board bios chip show intel display but hanging no other display i am sure this bios chip problem. my board intel D845gebv2. who bios chip exactly support this board and running fine. plz advice how to solve this problem........
have you tried resetting cmos with the new bios installed? have you tried disconnecting non essentials e.g. hard drives, opticles drives etc, dodgy hardware can cause bios post to hang generally when an onboard controller e.g. sata controller doesn't like the device attached to it. As for the bios chip it needs to be off the same make and model motherboard in order to work correctly also needs to be the correct bios revision that supports the installed cpu, otherwise you will get no post.
