Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, please move it if it is :/. My games have recently started crashing after about 5-10 minutes. The screen will all of a sudden freeze and the audio goes weird and I am unable to alt+tab anywhere and the comp reboots after about 10-15 seconds and I haven't had any problems prior to this, this just started happening 2 days ago. Someone suggested it might be my CPU overheating - I managed to check the temp about a minute before it happened at it was around 60-70C. I don't know how to identify where the problem is, everything runs fine up until that point.
I think it could be two things, memory error, crash then quick blue screen and restart. go to my computer (right click) - properties - advanced tab - start up recovery and untick automatically restart after memory dump. So next time your system crashes and blue screens it won't automatically restart so you'll be able to see the blue screen error if there is one. If not im leaning more towards power supply unit, could be overheating due to failing fan ( so check the fan) or just ware are tare. what psu do you have? how old is it?
I have no idea what company made it but its a 400-450watt one, I've been wanting a more powerful one but I don't have the money to spend right now. And I don't get the blue screen of death, the game just freezes and graphics get all messed up along with the audio.
It might help us hone in on the problem if you can list the specific hardware your system consists of. You'll have to physically open the case to see what power supply is there, but the label should be facing where you can easily read it.

12v rail? But I tried playing audiosurf and it instantly froze the comp, didn't even make it passed the loading screen
